West Midland Safari Park has the largest pod of hippos in the UK and the new habitat will encourage these semi-aquatic mammals to spend time grazing on land as well as hydrating in their pools. The new hippo house will be suitable for future breeding programmes, with an indoor pool, mud wallows and evening pools which offer close-access viewing for guests from their lodge balconies.

I just have other approaches to going about doing it than what the norms are (for example, writing this essay rather than a tweet that couldn’t possibly cover the issue or just wasting time on a stand-up stage to spout this but the latter two are more of the norm in current comedy).
It doesn’t mean that I’m not still active. But comedy, to me, is about doing what people don’t expect and the forums for meto be politically and socially active are separate of comedy. I don’t ever utter the name of our President on stage but I know that, as a brown man, I would be better suited and more successful if I just tore into the guy every time I went up there. It has become clear that, whether or not there is true heart to a comedian’s political and social commentary, it is trendy and profitable to be those things.
